Hanzhong Steel Converter Started Operation (EPC Supply by CISDI)
Converter No.1 of Hanzhong Steel

The tapping of converter #1 in Hanzhong Steel marked the success of this project supplied by CISDI on EPC basis. The first fully-domestic LT dedusting system applied in this project works well.

This project has a footprint of 110,000 m2, consisting of one KR hot metal desulfurizing unit, two 120t converters, one 120t LF and meltshop & CCM plant, auxiliaries such as primary dedusting system, water treatment system and steelmaking substation.

 The project is equipped with KR desulfurization process, bottom & top blowing, SACS converter (lower-suspension), evaporative cooling of fumes, steam recovery, LT dedusting process, single ladle hot metal transfer solution and hot slag treatment.
 
 It took only 8 months to complete the project construction, reflecting CISDI’s high management skills for such EPC projects.
