October of 2011 witnessed the successful rolling of the first bar by F650 and F850 bar mill designed by CISDI for Beiman Special Steel Company. 

On October 5^th, the first bar was successfully rolled by F650mm bar mill. The project is a good challenge for its high complexity and short design period. CISDI on-site service people have worked hard to complete the commissioning of full line within ten days.

On October 23^rd, the first bar was successfully produced by F850 bar mill, for which CISDI provided core equipment design & supply and commissioning. The line is intended for producing F310mm premium-quality rods.

Four ground-breaking progresses:

1. The vertical-horizontal tandem mill is sized for Φ900×1200mm, which is designed and EP-supplied by CISDI on its own, being the largest housing bar mill in China.
2. The cooling bed is the largest walking-beam teethed bed ever designed by CISDI, which can cool products of F350 as maximum.
3. The vertical mill is implemented with leading auxiliary hydraulic lifting for the first time.
4. The electrical commissioning for the full line takes only 12 days, setting a new record with this regard.
