The converter sublance and its dynamic model developed by CISDI in-house is under commissioning in Shaoguan Steel.
So far the sublance equipment has been hot tested for over 700 times and auto steelmaking by converter model has been tested over 60 heats, consequently the software architecture and computing results are getting steady. With continuous optimization of mechanical, electrical and software functions as well as improvement of maintenance skill, the sublance (including mechanical, electrical and control) have run failure-free for nearly 300 services and the converter has produced nearly 40 heats automatically in steady conditions, with liquid steel chemistry and temperature hitting rate reaching the design requirements.
Converter sublance and its dynamic model developed by CISDI consists of mass balance model, energy balance model, oxygen balance model and dynamic model as well as several other dynamic modules, which allows full automation for whole steelmaking process with high precision, high hitting rate and good equipment stability, contributing to less labor intensity, higher operation stability and less operational cost.
