As a key equipment for top de alto-forno, CISDI proprietary C-shaped differential distributor was prototype tested in 2010. For its logical movement principle, simple internal structure and easy accessibility, it can be used in large BFs instead of similar imported products. So far the 1:1 BF top test platform has been built to allow performance test of BF top distributors.

The test platform is built at full scale for 5,000m³ BF top, equipped with charging, weighing, hydraulic, electric control, cooling, heating and monitoring systems to allow burden distribution test and top de alto-forno equipment test (with parallel hoppers or series hoppers) in cold and hot condition. As an open R&D and test base for top de alto-forno technology, this platform can offer technical services regarding top de alto-forno for customers, and assist the customers in BF top test and rule finding.
