Being the first one in metal industry to build full 3D BM system simulation model for logistics analysis
Bulk material storage & handling project, due to its large size, large number of equipment, decentralized users, intercrossed process flow and complicated technology, is typically designed with estimation according to conservative empirical coefficient. With computer simulation technique, full 3D models can be built to simulate the operation according to actual rules so as to allow optimization of design concept and scheduling.
Based on its design for a 10.00Mt/a reference stockyard, CISDI has built 3D simulation models for incoming system, stockyard, outgoing system and blending system to study 39 individual process systems and 3 system route according to actual operation regulations, consequently, the system design is further optimized to reduce the belt conveyor length by app. 2.5km and land occupancy by 30,000m2.
CISDI is the first company in China metal industry to build full 3D simulation model for logistics analysis and its simulation model features modular design and 3D visualization which provides true reflection of the large & comprehensive stockyard performance, contributing to higher design reliability and logicality.
