Inked on January 31^st 2011, this contract is the second dephosphorizing project for refining rolling mills which CISDI contracted on EP basis with Baosteel. The project is proposed to add dephosphorizing manifolds between the refining mills. The main products with annual output of 3.50Mt include carbon structural steel, low alloy structural steel and quality carbon structural steel with thickness of 1.2mm~12.7mm and width of 650mm~1300mm

 

Since the inking of contract till the project putting into operation, only 100days is reserved for the equipment engineering and supply. By analyzing the differences between this project and Baosteel stainless steel hot rolling project, CISDI proposed proper reconstruction plan and saves cost for the Owner.

Currently, another dephosphorizing project of Baosteel-1580mm hot rolling dephosphorizing project is in the progress of engineering in CISDI.

 

1 Multi-point dephosphorizing technique on the base of current facilities, which greatly improves the surface quality of the steel strip and accurately control the temperature of steel strip.
 

2 CISDI takes independent responsibility for the engineering of dephosphorizing facilities of hot rolling line and engineering & rectification of level 2 module.
