March 28^th, 2011 witnessed successful hot metal tapping of No.2 COREX furnace of Baosteel Luojing plant designed by CISDI, the last in 2-phase projects of Baosteel Luojing plant. It represents smooth startup of No.2 COREX furnace ironmaking project.

No.2 COREX furnace started on April, 20^th, 2008, and registered many “the First”: the first independently designed and manufactured COREX gas AG scrubber in China (designed by CISDI, manufactured by CISDI heavy machinery company); the first independently developed COREX coal briquetting project in China (developed by CISDI); the first 300,000m³ gas holder with pressure 15kPa in the world (overall contracted to CISDI).
