CISDI’s Diligence, Intelligence and Devotion Highly Spoken of by AM

Now is the expedition phase of CISDI construction documentation delivery to AM Tubular Project Jubail which CISDI undertakes design and technical assistance services. As of January 2011, more than 11,300 sheets of A1-format engineering construction drawings have been completed, in which, 6,780-sheet A1 mechanical drawings and 3,700-sheet A1 civil drawings, accounting for 75% of the planned deliveries. Most of the process equipment foundation of main workshop building is completed; utilities and buildings and structures are comprehensively started.

The AMTPJ will be built with one hot rolling line (HM), two pre-finishing lines, one upsetting line, two heat treatment lines, one quality assurance (QA) line, one line pipe line and three OCTG lines. CISDI undertakes the engineering design of the AMTPJ plant, some equipment, EIC and utilities and production and living facilities in the plant. All aims for the target to build it as international top level hot-rolled seamless tube plant. The main products for this line are pipeline tube, OCTG and oil casing, in specs. OD. Ф60.3~406.4mm, wall 4.24~35.71mm, length 6~14.63m.

 CISDI has been making earnest efforts on strengthening planning management and control, taking close and dynamic track on design schedule and manpower, and expediting the liaison with customer for sorting out design obstacles and providing design inputs to facilitate the engineers’ progress. Twice conference calls every week are held with customer at Saudi site; updates of Master Schedule and weekly report are immediately done; support the SV staff to solve the design and drawings problems concerning construction.
