On October 18th, 2017, JSW Dolvi Works awarded CISDI the contract for supply of dry type dedusting system package for its #2 blast furnace. This is the new order placed with CISDI since CISDI completed the basic engineering of the material yard for JSW Dolvi Works, setting up the milestone for CISDI exporting energy-saving and environmental protection technology package to the market overseas.
As one of the largest and fastest-growing private steel producers in India, JSW has planned to increase the production capacity of its Dolvi Works from the present 5,000,000tpa up to 10,000,000tpa. For the project of #2 blast furnace of 5,000m3 class contracted by Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal, CISDI is one of the subcontractors of Engineering and Procurement.
As the dry type dedusting system has never been used on a large blast furnaces in India, JSW Dolvi Works was prudent and paid great attention to technical specifics such as temperature and pressure of gas, consumption of energy and media, concentrations of emissions, etc. Through adequate technical discussions, clarifications and site visits to the reference plants of CISDI, JSW has been convinced and accepted use of the dry type dedusting system package proposed by CISDI on the blast furnace.
