February 13, 2015 witnessed the important moment for Zhanjiang Steel 2,250mm HM with CISDI undertaking its plant design, when the Finishing Block F4 Mill Housing was handled to its due position, sized in 10,685mm long, 4,500mm wide and 740mm thick and weighed by single 138t. It marks that the equipment installation has been started after civil work, all expecting it a favorable start for ushering in the startup target at the end of this year.

 Being one of the key projects of Zhanjiang Steel Base, The 2,250mm HM is designed for producing 5.50Mt/a high-quality hot-rolled products, especially enhancing Baosteel’s automobile sheet proportion and market competitiveness.
