Perspective Drawing of Zero Waste Water Drainage Plant
Project Startup
September 1, 2014 witnessed the groundbreaking of zero wastewater discharge project for Hebei Jingye Group Co., Ltd. The project is contracted by CISDI on EPC basis, and the treated water shall be completely recycled and used for landscaping. This is another zero waste water discharge order for CISDI following the one from Xinjiang Bayi Steel.
The project includes the installation of a new 36,000t/d wastewater pretreatment and advanced treatment plant, revamping of 24,000t/d water treatment system and installation of a new 600t/d salicylic acid effluent crystallization & evaporation plant. The existing wastewater treatment system will be revamped to allow the treated water to be completely reused, so as to achieve zero discharge of waste water for the whole plant.
Jingye Group is located in Shijiazhuang City, with a footprint of 5,000 acres and output of 10mt/a iron, steel and finished products respectively. The area downstream the projection drainage location is the source of potable water for Shijiazhuang city, and Beijing city in future, and the river where the raw water is taken dries up frequently, so this project is in response to the environmental protection and water shortage alleviation.
CISDI has leading technology and successful references for advanced wastewater treatment. The wastewater treatment plant supplied by CISDI for Xinjiang Bayi Steel on EPC basis achieves zero waste water discharge by reclaiming the water for landscaping. The philosophy of ecology, environmental protection and water resource regeneration is incorporated into advanced waste water treatment technology, contributing to much less industrial fresh water consumption.
