Capable of manufacturing non-standard core equipment for entire steel plants

The imported Φ260mm large precision CNC floor-mounted boring and milling machine was successfully installed and commissioned in Chongqing CISDI Heavy Machinery Co. Ltd. (a subsidiary of CISDI) at the end of October 2013. The imported 5mx 20 m large five-axis CNC precision machining center was successfully installed and commissioned on December 14. With the local made 5m x 40m large double-gantry CNC boring & milling machine, 3,150mm heavy-duty horizontal milling center and 12.5m large high-precision CNC vertical lathe and milling machine, Phase II of CISDI Heavy Machinery are well equipped and properly commissioned, ready for production.

With Phase II, CISDI Heavy Machinery has expanded its plant building and auxiliary offices by 52,000 square meters and expanded its assembly area by ​​10,000 square meters, which  will greatly improve its capacity for machining large and ultra-large parts. It is in a position to machine and assemble key equipment for 5,000m³ blast furnace, 300t converter and 1,780mm hot strip mill.

CISDI Heavy Machinery was founded in 2006, located in Jiangjin Degan Industrial Park, Chongqing. It is the R&D and pilot test base of CISDI Group, and also the base for non-standard equipment manufacturing and mechanical non-standard equipment integration. CISDI Heavy Machinery is in a position to machine core parts including roll bending/shifting device, trunnion, housing, cones and trunnion rings. Its products are the non-standard core equipment for the full process from ironmaking, steelmaking, continuous casting, rolling and processing. 

CISDI Heavy Machinery has provided granulated slag drum, converter, continuous caster segments and various rolling mills for many key steel producers in China, including Baosteel, Shougang Steel, Anshan Steel, Benxi Steel, Shagang Steel, Taiyuan Steel, Jinan Steel, Handan Steel, Panzhihua Steel, Tangshan Steel, Nanjing Steel. It has built good relation with Brava Steel (Spain), Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation, Taiwan Yieh United Steel Corporation. The exported products are well received in GUSA (Brazil) and CSN UPV plant (Brazil).
