Fully understanding the HM SPM’s functions mainly in better flatness, mechanical property and surface quality, CISDI designed and manufactured the coil preparation station to well support the Beiying1780 mm HM SPM in the purpose of improving the coils’ added value and market competitiveness. Cutting of the coil ends, width alignment and auto coil loading for various specifications have been successfully achieved.

 

Since its startup, the coil ends have been cut orderly, and all the relevant equipment run stably. Hereby, the coil loading time were shortened for the 1780 mm HM SPM, contributing to higher productivity and benefits.

 

CISDI engineers and project team members made multiple trips to the site whenever necessary for practical coordination and commissioning. Through the concerted efforts, all the equipment in the coil preparation station completed the test run and started up as scheduled. Quality of the coils as loaded for the downstream production was approved by the customer.
