KR hot metal desulphurization device #2 supplied by CISDI Shanghai for Lianfeng Steel (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd. was successfully put into operation on August 13, 2012. The order was placed in July, 2010 and the device is designed to treat 2.98Mt/a hot metal.

The KR desulphurization device is promoted jointly by CISDI and DEC (Japan) for Chinese users. Developed from DEC’s nearly 20 years experiences in KR, the device represents the world’s most leading KR desulphurization technology, featuring much less desulphurizing agent consumption.
