RHF#1 for 1,780mm HSM of Meishan Steel is Successfully Heated Up

Reheating furnace #1 supplied by Chongqing CISDI Industrial Furnace Co., Ltd. with overall technical responsibility for 1,780mm HSM slab yard and reheating furnace area was heated up on May 23, 2012. Previously, reheating furnaces #2 &3 had been started up and operated smoothly.

Following the supply of reheating furnace #1~3 for 1,422mm hot strip mill in Meishan Steel, CISDI Industrial Furnace won bid to supply equipment for slab yard and reheating furnace area of 1,780mm HSM on July 13, 2010.

In recent years, CISDI Industrial Furnace has studied new technology of reheating furnace of steel enterprises, considered product orientation of 1780mm hot strip mill, experience of reheating furnace of 1422mm hot strip mill and normal practise of Meishan Steel in operation and maintenance, provided Meishan steel with advanced heating process and thermo-technical automatic control and proven and reliable equipment. The three reheating furnaces run well after start up, temperature homogeneity, energy consumption and discharging index reach advanced level in China and are praised by owners.
