It takes only four months from signing the contract in the end of February 2012 to start-up of the project. It’s the first cooperation between CISDI and No.1 Rolling Mill of Tangshan Steel.

 

▲     Installation of edge masking device to improve the temperature homogeneity across the strip and the product quality.

▲     Side spray water supply system and side spraying device of laminar cooling section are modified to blow off laminar cooling water on top surface of strip, contributing to better temperature control accuracy for strip.

▲     Installation of high efficiency compressed air purging device at the laminar cooling exit, which ensures strip surface quality and temperature detection accuracy.

 

Revamp roller table cooling water, solve problems of the old roller table cooling water spraying on the strip surface that affects strip shape and temperature control accuracy.

 

So far the equipment has operated normally for a month, and has improved finished strip quality.
