Hot Commissioning of TISCO No.3 BOF Succeeds

No.3 BOF of TISCO

No.3 BOF (180t) of TISCO designed by CISDI passed hot commissioning successfully on July 1, 2012. Seven heats were successfully smelted from 10:30 a.m. to 17:30. The deputy manager of TISCO meltshop #2 and the relevant management personnel were present at the site and expressed their satisfaction.RH#2, the last part of this project is currently under commissioning.

For this revamping project, CISDI steelmaking technologists and structural engineers have studied carefully to eventually work out the solutions to accommodate the 180-ton BOF between the existing 18m column distance.
