June 7^th, 2011 witnessed the signing of contract between CISDI and Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (FHS) for basic engineering/detail engineering of the stockyard, which is another key order following the general planning design order. 

The stockyard is intended to store and handle the raw materials and fuels for BF, sintering plant and coking plant, etc. As a full-process bulk material storage and handling project involving truck material receiving, wharf material receiving, coal yard, ore yard, crushing & screening, blending and material supply system, it is the most challenging one for CISDI so far.

The stockyard will be equipped with world leading process technology, equipment, automation, control and auxiliaries, with demanding requirement for energy efficiency, environmental emission, consumption reduction and low OPEX. The project shall be implemented with CISDI proprietary technologies including environmental-friendly stockyard, recycled material treatment, environmental-friendly tripper car, head telescoping device and long-distance & large-capacity belt conveyor. 3D collaborative design, heavy-equipment CAE, material flow simulation and comprehensive stockyard management and control shall contribute to good project quality and progress.
