A Nippon Steel Engineering delegation led by its new president Takahashi Makoto visited CISDI on August 22, 2011. CISDI Chairman Xiao Xuewen met with the delegation, and both parties had discussion about the cooperation. Mr. Xiao emphasized that it is necessary to learn from others’ experiences to strike a compromise between proprietary technology protection and international collaboration, and to search for new collaboration potential in energy, resource and environment aspect by open-mind and far-sighted approach. CISDI is looking forward to the comprehensive collaboration with Nippon Steel Engineering to explore the global market jointly. 

Mr. Takahashi Makoto said that his long career in Nippon Steel Engineering Co., Ltd. contributes to his deep knowledge of CISDI. Now that Japan economy is damped as a result of many factors, Nippon Steel Engineering is willing to have wider collaboration with CISDI in hopes of expanding its business.
