On May 30th 2011, CISDI was awarded with the contract of Laminar Flow Cooling Revamping Project of Bayi Steel, taking responsibility in equipment supply and software upgrading services for automation control and module.
The high-efficient laminar flow cooling equipment and control technology which are independently developed by CISDI shall greatly improve the cooling capacity and cooling uniformity of hot rolling line, and competiveness of the steadily produced high-grade steel pipes shall be greatly strengthened.
Oriented by market demands, CISDI is focusing on the integration of equipment upgrading and performance improvement. CISDI deepens the R & D profundity of cooling control process and equipment technology, and on the other hand, it is dedicated in studying the relation between ‘cooling’ in hot rolling process and product performance. After studying the demands and problems of laminar cooling process in projects of Baosteel, WISCO, TISCO and Bayi Steel, CISDI proposed an innovative ‘high efficient laminar cooling mode’, which is dedicated in improving the cooling capacity and uniformity. Meanwhile, CISDI initiated the ‘black circle’ overlapping mechanism analyses’ and made corresponding improvement in detail engineering. With unremitting endeavor, CISDI has overcome numerous technical headaches and gained honor and trust of the clients. Today totally 4 technologies studied from this research have been awarded with patents, and one of the four has been applied in Bayi Steel project in Xinjiang.
