February, 14^th, 2011 witnessed successful load test of flat-bulb steel mill line project of Ansteel and production of qualified flat-bulb steel. 6000kw billet induction heating equipment, core equipment in the line, is developed, designed and manufactured by CISDI on its own. It signifies successful application of high-power billet on-line induction heating equipment originated in China. Billet on-line induction heating equipment replaces gas heating of billet with electric heating, featuring zero emission, low energy, small billet burning loss and flexible heating control etc. The successful startup of the project greatly contributes to scientific development and energy conserving & emission cutting in induction heating field and lays a solid foundation for promotion of induction heating technology in steel rolling process.
