January 4, 2011 saw the one-time load test success of Piercer Mill for VALIN Wuxi Steel Ф258mm Tube Mill built by CISDI on EPC mode. Particularly, the Piercer Mill was well done with CISDI’s self-developed and manufactured double-layer plug bar circulating device for large caliber of tube, 1st set of the world. It can shorten dead time of piercing and rolling cycle, expanding service life of plug bar and productivity. Such smooth load test proved the equipment practicability.
