CISDI has been contracted to provide engineering design for the underground civil air-defense project at the Paradise Walk shopping area, Jiangbei District, Chongqing, the first military-civil project in Chongqing, and the largest in China, which combines comprehensive development of urban underground space and construction of underground urban rail transit (URT) systems & highways and large underground shopping complexes.

The project, located in Guanyinqiao, one of the most sought-after shopping districts in Chongqing, involves an area 2.6km long, will have a floor area about 190,000m² in total. Being a total solutions provider, CISDI has established a project team consisting of geotechnical engineers, civil air-defense specialists, structural engineers, URT engineers, architectural engineers, landscaping engineers, simulation analysis and BIM specialists, committed to providing a showpiece of comprehensive development of urban underground space, and improving MCC branding in the urban construction industry as well.
