Signing Ceremony of Strategic Partnership Agreement between CISDI and China Steel
On August 13, 2015, CISDI and Dragon Steel Corporation of China Steel Corp. inked a consulting contract for rebuilding bulk materials yard (BMY) for environmental protection purpose. It’s expected to modify it as triple continuous bays in an enclosed way. It would be highlighted with the biggest single bay over 140m but without any middle support, and with the whole workshop building spanning over 800m.
Located in Taizhong in Taiwan, the integrated BMY of Dragon Steel Corporation will be constructed by China Steel Structure Co., Ltd., modifying the original open yard to enclosed one as required by environmental protection. The stockyard is designed with storage capacity of 2Mt/a and planned to be rebuilt online in different phases, in intent of affecting as little as possible the present production; nonetheless, it would exert a great challenge for conducting such online modification. Thanks to CISDI’s rich experience and satisfactory references in enclosed BMY engineering, China Steel concluded the full-process consulting agreement to CISDI from design to construction of the project under the framework of mutual strategic partnership.
