Surface detection technology is to use industrial camera and model identification technology and to analyze surface quality information based on video acquisition and analysis so as to provide reference for upstream and downstream process, contributing to better product quality and higher efficiency. This technology has been widely applied in medicine and micro-electronics industry. Now there is a tendency for wide application in metallurgical industry in China.
CUSDI explored the detection technology for picked strip surface. So far CISDI has mastered the video acquisition and processing technology, real-time video transfer technology, pickled strip defect identification technology, IPP acceleration technology and OPENMP computation technology. It has also made breakthrough in fundamental study and developed its proprietary model identification technology, which boasts own advantages when compared to other classic model identification technology, and can be expanded and applied to other model identification fields.
High-resolution strip video can be obtained via real-time video acquisition and processing technology. Users can share the real-time acquired video on many equipment thanks to real-time video transfer technology. Acquired video can be analyzed by use of pickling defect identification technology so as to get the category, size and location of defects and prepare for defect record and alarm. Efficiency of image processing function shall be increased through IPP procedure acceleration technology so as to save procedure execution time. Multi-core CPU parallel processing can be realized via OPENMP technology so as to accelerate execution speed of circular calculation.
